eligibilty for aieee exam

Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary - Class XII) examination or its equivalent referred to as a qualifying examination from a recognized Board/University for admission to B.E./B.Tech., B. Arch & B. Planning Courses as under: Courses: B.E./B. Tech Compulsory subjects: Physics & Mathematics Any one of the Optional Subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology Courses: B. Arch/B.Planning Compulsory subjects: Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level Any one of the Optional Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, Engineering Drawing The candidates appearing in 10+2 (Class - XII) final or equivalent examination may also appear in AIEEE provisionally subject to their fulfilling the specified eligibility conditions at the time of appearing for counseling. Admission to AIEEE is meant for Indian nationals only. Date of Birth: Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1982 are eligible. In the case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Physically Challenged candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by five years meaning thereby candidates born on or after October 01, 1977 are eligible.
